Tweets about Bimba Bose's death generate outrage on Twitter

After announcing the death of Bimba Bose at 41 years of age due to breast cancer, social networks were flooded with messages of affection towards the model and their loved ones. However, many others took advantage of anonymity to insult the deceased, mock the messages of their relatives and write homophobic tweets that we prefer not to reproduce because of their embarrassing content.

Fortunately, in the face of the wave of shameful messages, Twitter users showed their rejection and indignation on the same social network. Now, in addition, the Prosecutor of the Criminal Information Chamber , Elvira Tejada, has asked the security forces to send them these injurious tweets published after Bimba Bose's death, to analyze whether some of them incur a hate crime for their content.

As Vozpopuli has published, the Police and the Civil Guard will carefully examine all these offensive messages , although many of them have been published from Latin American countries such as Mexico.

For his part, the Minister of Justice, Rafael Catala, has also indicated that these injurious tweets or that incite hatred should be investigated and their authors should be identified because in the latter reform Criminal Code convictions of hate crimes and discrimination through social networks were hardened.

The prosecutor will investigate tweets against Bimba bose

After the prosecutor studied those comments posted on Twitter, will evaluate the possibility of initiating criminal proceedings in the case of homophobic messages , since the authors of those comments could have committed a crime of hatred, typified in article 510 of the Criminal Code.

However, the only one who can take criminal actions in the face of injurious messages is the injured party. In this case, Miguel Bose would be one of the main victims because a large part of these tweets that respond to message that I publish on this well-known social network after the death of his niece: »Good trip Bimba, my complice, my partner, my love, my dear daughter.Guiame».

Good trip Bimba, my complice, my partner, my love, my dear daughter.Guide me.
