Google launches the #YoMeSumo challenge to prevent hate speech on social networks

Within the framework of the School Day of Nonviolence and Peace, Google has just presented the new campaign of diffusion We are More in social networks to raise awareness about hate speech and violent radicalism that will have the support of renowned Spanish youtubers and invite young people to participate through the hashtag #YoMeSumo.

This challenge #YoMeSumo has the objective that the new generations of Our country will demonstrate against hate speech through social networks by drawing a "+1" in the palm of your hand and sharing your photo, video or GIF under the hashtag.Young people interested can also make use of GIFs and resources already available on the project website to spread the message of the good use of these tools.

To reach the whole world, the campaign has brought together a group of Spanish youtubers engaged in the fight against hate speech (in the forms of racism, xenophobia, homophobia, Islamophobia and sexism) and convinced that platforms like YouTube are a space to spread positive messages of integration, tolerance and respect.Specifically, Ramia's Channel, La Familia TV, OfficialMad4yu, Miss Black Glamor, and Yellow Mellow, Rayden will also collaborate., Andrea Compton and Arkano creating videos on their channels, participating in educational workshops in schools and making publications on social networks.
